Project Manager , who has a desire to contribute to our clients' success and is looking for new learning experiences and opportunities for career growth. This position will be working out of one of our Midwest locations, ideally
Green Bay, WI, Minneapolis, MN, Duluth, MN, or Madison, WI
and will require up to 20% travel.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage manufacturing and mining clients, including multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists, in the completion of environmental projectsManage the planning, development, and execution of projects keeping in mind budget, schedule, quality, and contractual commitmentsLead federal, state, and local permitting effortsAssemble project teams and monitor project performance while mentoring and coaching team membersNegotiate scope change orders with clients and subcontractorsAssist client leaders with creating proposals and cultivating client relationshipsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or applicable technical discipline10 years of project management experience working with complex projects of varying size and scopePreferred Qualifications
15+ years of experience working in the consulting engineering industry5 years of experience managing mining projects, which may include: mine planning, mine optimization, milling, tailings management, reclamation, preparation of scoping and trade-off studies, feasibility studies, permitting, and natural resource assessmentsProfessional registration or certification in project managementPrevious experience developing project business opportunitiesPrior experience with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process and documentationPrevious experience with mine permitting in the Upper-Midwest and Great Lakes region (Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin)Why Foth:
