\ *\ The Public Health division is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Clinical Health team. This position is a full-time, project position, housed within the Public Health Division. Job duties include serving patients across the clinical services offered at 39 Forest Ave, including: New Mainer Screening & Referral, Harm Reduction Services, Immunization Program, STD Clinic, and the Portland Community Free Clinic. During hours when patients are not being seen, nurses will coordinate referrals, provide case management, perform telephone intakes and triage, and partner with community healthcare and social service resources. May also be engaged in education for staff and community partners on best public health practice, reporting, and outreach.\ \ * Requirements:\ *\ Our ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare for vulnerable populations of all ages, flexible, and resourceful.\ Must have good decision making skills and the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.\ This full-time position is 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible work schedule that may include evening hours until 8pm.
