AI Innovation Specialist – Automotive Manufacturing
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative AI Innovation Specialist to join our forward-thinking team in the automotive manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions into our manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, quality, and automation. This role will focus on leveraging AI to improve production lines, optimize supply chain operations, and contribute to the development of smart factories. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality control, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate AI technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, and robotics into production lines.
- Utilize AI tools to predict maintenance needs, reduce downtime, and optimize equipment performance in a proactive manner.
- Lead the design and development of smart factory initiatives that incorporate IoT and AI for real-time monitoring and automation of manufacturing processes.
- Analyze large data sets to identify patterns, forecast production bottlenecks, and recommend AI solutions that improve overall productivity.
- Work closely with supply chain management to streamline operations, optimize logistics, and manage inventory levels through AI-based algorithms.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI and automotive manufacturing technologies, continuously seeking innovative solutions for the plant.
- Oversee the training of production teams to effectively use AI tools and technologies in daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and company policies in the implementation of AI systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in AI applications, especially within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and robotics.
- Experience with industrial automation systems, IoT devices, and data analytics in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
