Project Manager, e-Commerce

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in Quality Assurance (QA) and e-commerce to join the team of an exciting IT Consulting and Solutions company. This role will be pivotal in managing complex e-commerce projects, keeping initiatives on track, and ensuring alignment between business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with e-commerce platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, or Shopify and be skilled in driving projects from planning through execution while mitigating risks and handling change management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and loose ends are addressed
  • Present updates on banner-level progress, major functional milestones, support tasks, and productivity metrics
  • Oversee the change control process, documenting and sharing change controls with relevant stakeholders
  • Proactively identify project risks and timeline impacts based on scope changes and communicate budgetary implications to the CTO and CFO in advance
  • Serve as the primary communication point for all project-related matters
  • Bridge communication gaps between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy
  • Work closely with the QA team to support testing efforts and track the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase for each development effort
  • Monitor project efforts in JIRA, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and hold teams accountable for meeting timelines
  • Define and implement an escalation path for potential risks, delays, or scope changes in conjunction with the CTO

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in QA and managing e-commerce projects on platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify, or similar
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with change control, risk management, and budget impact assessment
  • Proficiency with project management tools, especially JIRA
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present progress updates and bridge gaps between technical and business teams
  • Strong understanding of KPI tracking and UAT processes
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Experience working with Software Development Directors and CTOs on efforts

Pay:

  • $45 - $48 /hr

Location:

  • Wadsworth, OH
  • Hybrid, option for remote for the right candidate

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 40 hours
