IT Support Technician

About the Role: We are looking for Helpdesk candidates of various levels, at least with 1+ years of experience. The IT Support Specialist is focused on end-user support and responsible for the receipt, triage, and resolution of Services Requests and incidents related to computer systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and remote support via IT ticketing system, email, desk-side support, and phone calls
  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions following established processes and procedures
  • Maintain application and system documentation by updating written procedures
  • Collaborate on and escalate issues with senior IT staff
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to Service Requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Experience providing technical support in Windows and Mac OS environments
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Basic secure computing practices
  • Understanding of Networking concepts
  • Flexible schedule (able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed).
  • High school diploma / GED required

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience in an IT-related field or as a Service Technician preferred
  • Knowledge of Entra ID
  • Knowledge of Intune and/or Jamf
  • IT-related college degree preferred
  • Certifications in a related field is a plus

Anticipated hiring salary $50,000 with higher salary possible depending upon experience.
