IT Support Technician

About the Role: We are looking for Helpdesk candidates of various levels, at least with 1+ years of experience. The IT Support Specialist is focused on end-user support and responsible for the receipt, triage, and resolution of Services Requests and incidents related to computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote support via IT ticketing system, email, desk-side support, and phone calls
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions following established processes and procedures
- Maintain application and system documentation by updating written procedures
- Collaborate on and escalate issues with senior IT staff
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to Service Requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Experience providing technical support in Windows and Mac OS environments
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience working with Microsoft 365
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic secure computing practices
- Understanding of Networking concepts
- Flexible schedule (able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed).
- High school diploma / GED required
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in an IT-related field or as a Service Technician preferred
- Knowledge of Entra ID
- Knowledge of Intune and/or Jamf
- IT-related college degree preferred
- Certifications in a related field is a plus
Anticipated hiring salary $50,000 with higher salary possible depending upon experience.
