Construction Superintendent - Garden Style Apt (Over $50 Million)

Position Overview: The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all on-site activities for the construction of garden-style apartment buildings. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in residential / multifamily construction, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of construction from planning to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in residential construction, preferably with garden-style apartments.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role building low to mid rise residential or multifamily construction
