TITLE: Data Operations Manager - Connect

LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)

SALARY

$100,000 - $120,000

The Role:

As a member of our Canoe Connect Business Team, the Data Operations Manager will guide and work closely with our offshore and onshore teammates to take charge of complex processes which impact Canoe’s ability to improve our document collection offering continuously. If you have a proven track record of driving workflow, accountability, and ownership for yourself and others then you’d be a great addition to our team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Leverage Canoe’s technology and data operations team to collect and deliver all of Canoe’s clients’ documents quickly and completely
  • Manage a global team that will oversee daily execution of Canoe Connect data operations team
  • Collaborate with offshore managers and onshore experts on new process changes and training initiatives
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams; effectively communicating roles, responsibilities and expectations
  • Build and maintain capacity framework that drives plans for global resourcing needed to support both Canoe’s growth and operational results
  • Lead efforts for continuous improvement of existing processes including measurement, testing, documentation, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to develop long-term robust software solutions which address manual operations challenges
  • Analyze data and consult with subject matter experts to design and develop business requirements for various tools and processes; Create, gather and write Business and Technical Requirements Documents
  • Act as the subject matter expert for questions/projects relating to data quality and ensuring that best practices are being followed amongst both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Track the progress and resolution of data issues, elevating any critical issues to upper management

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing a high volume, high velocity operations function
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with databases, SQL & Snowflake
  • Track record of performance against SLAs, both internally and with clients
  • Proven success with scaling and streamlining team execution
  • Strong project management and communication skills combined with strong attention to detail
  • Experience directing and managing teammates working in various locations and time zones
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative environment, sharing/adopting best practices, and supporting teammates
  • Analytical, data-driven self-starter that is detailed-oriented and resourceful
  • Problem-solver who thrives in diving into details when required
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously

Preferred:

  • Experience leading a geographically distributed team of offshore and onshore resources
  • Management consulting, project management, business process outsourcing, or technology-related data automation experience
  • Previous success with agile project and workflow development concepts
  • Proficient in synthesizing large data sets in order to drive decision making (use of SQL would be a plus)
  • Experience scaling manual processes in an ultra-high growth environment
