JOHNLEONARD is seeking a flexible, full-time HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist in the Boston area. In this role, you will report to the Corporate HR Manager and receive a competitive benefits package and a salary range of $75K-$85K.
As an HR/Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will also manage recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefit performance while promoting a positive work environment.
To give you an idea of how this HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist role would look and feel, here are some things you can expect to do:
- Manage ADP Workforce Now system, payroll, and time
- Manage benefits programs and assist in employee inquiries
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and recruitment plans
- Assist HR manager in performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, union, and local employment regulations
The successful HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist applicant will have at least 3 years of HR experience with 2+ years in benefits administration and payroll. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to communicate effectively
