Overview:

The Senior Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to the Managing Partner, focusing on corporate law and commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a paralegal role, with a strong background in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Managing Partner with the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, lease agreements, and corporate filings.
  • Conduct thorough research on corporate governance, compliance, and real estate regulations.
  • Manage the due diligence process for commercial real estate transactions, including title reviews and property inspections.
  • Facilitate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare and file necessary documents with governmental agencies.
  • Assist in the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and purchase agreements.
  • Support the closing process for real estate transactions, including the preparation of closing documents and coordination of closing logistics.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior paralegals and legal assistants as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends and changes in corporate and real estate law.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on corporate law and commercial real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance regulations, and real estate transactions.
  • Proficient in legal research and document management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
