Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Our client is a dynamic law firm dedicated to providing top-notch legal services in the field of commercial real estate. Our team values collaboration, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our firm.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in commercial real estate within a law firm environment. This role requires a strong understanding of sophisticated transactions related to land acquisition, financing, and closings for commercial properties, including office buildings, hotels, and shopping centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in the preparation and review of commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
- Draft, organize, and manage closing documents for various commercial properties.
- Conduct due diligence and coordinate title and survey reviews.
- Maintain and update transaction files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and third parties to facilitate transactions.
- Utilize Doubletime software for document management and project tracking.
- Provide research support related to zoning, land use, and other commercial real estate issues.
- Perform UCC searches and filings.
- Attend and assist with closings, ensuring all necessary documents are executed and recorded.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate within a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and relevant legal concepts.
- Proficient in Doubletime and other relevant software tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
