Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Our Client is a Law Firm in the West Palm area. To qualify you must have experience working in Commercial Real Estate Law.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implementation of all elements of evolving commercial real estate case and knowledge management systems, including file management (electronic and hard copy), case calendaring, task lists and commercial litigation-related deadlines.
- Meet and confer with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss cases, projects, and ongoing client development initiatives.
- Order, review, and abstract UCC/judgment/lien search results.
- Obtain and review zoning reports and conduct related zoning analyses
- Draft legal documents including routine retention and fee applications; draft orders; prepare exhibits; file motions and pleadings in accordance with judicial procedures.
- Research and analyze case management procedures, local court rules and statutes for compliance.
- Review and monitor case dockets to identify, summarize, and circulate relevant pleadings and applications.
- Manage hearing preparation and support, including scheduling of telephonic appearances and preparation of hearing binders.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case information, which may include depositions, pleadings, exhibits and other items.
- Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation.
- Develop and maintain time records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree with 4 or more years of relevant experience in commercial real estate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of electronic filing through Federal and State courts.
- Familiarity with fundamental commercial real estate concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
