The Division Project Engineering Manager will lead engineering efforts to ensure projects meet business and financial goals through effective planning, coordination, and service. This role involves providing engineering leadership and oversight for the Roofing System business unit, manufacturing plants, engineering group, and technical resources.

Your Day-to-Day:
- Engineering Leadership
- Oversee engineering activities for the Roofing System business unit and manufacturing plants.
- Capital Program Management
- Lead division capital programs, including multi-year asset planning and annual operating plans.
- Council Participation
- Actively participate in the Global Investment Council and Engineering Council, coordinating with corporate resources.
- Project Leadership
- Manage key divisional projects from justification to execution, ensuring they meet objectives and deliver expected benefits.
- Operational Support
- Assist in increasing production capacity, improving product quality, reducing costs, and enhancing operations and HSE results.
- Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and hire divisional project engineers, and provide leadership to process and plant engineers.
- Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure processes and equipment meet safety and environmental standards.
- Technical Support
- Provide resources for troubleshooting, optimizing plant operations, and resolving efficiency or quality issues.
- Training and Documentation
- Offer technology operations training and update operating guidelines, SOPs, and manufacturing specifications.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement and benchmarking in all aspects of engineering, including project management and asset performance.
- Resource Management
- Manage engineering department staffing, resources, and budget to meet safety, productivity, and financial goals.
- Industry Trends
- Stay updated on new processes, equipment, and industry best practices, and assist with the identification and execution of new technologies.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field). A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering leadership, which should include mentoring and managing other engineering professionals and managing capital projects of at least $5M with varying complexity and size through the entire project lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to travel extensively as required; on average between 4-6 overnight stays per month.
