Qualifications and Experience

  • Education
    Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

  • Systems Knowledge
    Krones and Siemens systems, providing an advanced understanding of leading industry platforms.

  • Licensure
    Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

  • Certifications
    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Industry Experience
    5+ years of progressive experience within a high-speed Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment, with a track record of achieving efficiency, quality, and safety targets.

  • Electrical Distribution
    Strong foundation in electrical distribution systems, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Instrumentation & Calibration
    Proficient in instrumentation and calibration processes, with experience ensuring equipment reliability and accuracy.

  • Automation Systems & Equipment
    Expertise in the design, programming, and maintenance of automation systems, including familiarity with various automated equipment types.

  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
    Demonstrated capability in MES deployment and integration within a manufacturing environment.

  • Digital Implementation
    Skilled in the application of digital technologies to enhance operational reliability and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • System Design & Maintenance
    Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive electrical, automation, MES, and digital systems, ensuring system integrity, safety, and alignment with corporate standards.

  • Project Management
    Lead full project lifecycles for electrical and automation engineering, from concept to commissioning. Responsible for documentation, procurement, system programming, and final assembly, ensuring timely, cost-effective project delivery.

  • Technical Training & Support
    Develop and deliver technical training for factory personnel, assess competencies, and provide ongoing support to elevate technical expertise in electrical and automation systems.

  • Process Optimization
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and enhance production processes, ensuring continuous improvements in quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

  • Maintenance & Reliability
    Implement and execute maintenance strategies, utilizing digital technologies to bolster process reliability. Safeguard operational continuity through rigorous management of electrical, instrumentation, and MES systems.

  • Compliance & Safety
    Ensure all electrical and automation activities align with corporate safety, environmental, and quality standards, maintaining current documentation and enforcing compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Sustainability Initiatives
    Identify and implement sustainable practices within E&A processes, including energy and water conservation projects. Track and communicate project results to demonstrate impact on factory sustainability objectives.

  • Asset Lifecycle Management
    Proactively manage E&A assets by forecasting end-of-life and obsolescence needs, planning for timely replacements, and balancing performance with cost efficiency for strategic capital planning.

  • Leadership in Capital Projects
    Lead E&A components in capital investment projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet quality, budget, and schedule targets.
