Quality Control Inspector Machine Shop

We are seeking an Inspector to join our team! You will conduct inspections of material and adhere to quality processes while identifying areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of machined parts
• Inspect using industry-appropriate methods and hand tools such as calipers, height gauge and pin gauges.
• Record inspection results by completing reports (summarizing parts: good, repaired, and rejected)
• Adhere to company Incoming Quality Assurance standards and policies.
• Maintain care and proper usage of measuring equipment used in QA inspection process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• 2 years + Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
• Knowledge of GD&T a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
