Job description – Human Resources Analyst

Location: Anaheim, CA
Workplace: Onsite; open to hybrid work
Compensation: 25.00-30.00/hr.
The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to appropriate initiatives and functions. In addition, this role will contribute to the overall success of the Human Resources department, and will have opportunities to participate in functions such as recruiting, operational and onboarding processes. This role will begin with a balance of supporting HR functions and companywide data and analytics initiatives and reporting. As the company's rapid expansion continues, more of the selected candidate's time will be devoted to the analytics pieces of the role.
The ideal candidate will be a Microsoft Excel expert and super-user who will enjoy surfacing metrics and creating data-driven analytics and engaging, easy-to-read reports for users throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources which may include management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to budget spend, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to leadership.
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Actively participates in the continued excellence of our Human Resources processes, and will be involved in recruiting, onboarding, and operational procedures within Human Resources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Data-Driven – Ready and happy to work with all manner of input, displaying a talent for turning raw data into clearly understood content by all parties
- Microsoft Excel expert
- we use Microsoft Excel for reporting and analytics frequently. The chosen candidate will be a Microsoft Excel expert.

Education and Certification:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, Accounting or similar
· Accounting certifications welcome
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
