Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the industrial manufacturing industry looking to hire a Product Engineer! This is a great opportunity to be involved in a lot of different areas and learn new things. They have a younger team in place so this person will be able to mentor and train even younger engineers.

Responsibilities

  • 25% of time – Automation Cells Project of Sodick machineries and the third-party robots or other peripheral devices
  • 25% of time – Turn-Key Projects such as fixtures design and lean cells for Sodick machineries.
  • 20% of time – Special Machine Interface for the peripheral devices such as robot, fixture, index tables.
  • 5% of time – Customized Machines for the customers to accommodate large fixture, workpiece, index tables.
  • 10% of time – Provide customers with continued technical support on machine setup, programming and operations.
  • 10% of time – Use analysis and testing to assist customers in identifying machine problems and finding solutions

Hiring Manager Must Have’s:

  • 5+ years of experience working within a similar industry
  • Industries- OEM, machine builders, packaging machine builders.
  • At least 2 years working in a similar industry/environment.
  • Working knowledge of the printed circuit boards and electronic devices
  • Working knowledge of PLC and Robot Programming.
  • Abilities and knowledge to troubleshoot Electrical and Mechanical systems.
  • Working knowledge of CAD / CAM system, materials, tooling, and end mills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision and to calmly handle stressful situations when customers complain of equipment malfunctions.
  • Possess technical curiosity and ability to diagnose and solve production issues.- this is huge Marius really wants someone who is so willing to learn and jump in where is needed!
  • Detail-oriented and able to get work completed in a manufacturing environment
  • Someone who shows interest and has mechanical hobbies!

Plus’s:

· Bachelor's degree or associates degree

· CNC, automation or relevant certification.

· CNC programming capabilities!
