Test Automation Engineer

A test automation engineer is a software professional with expertise in developing and implementing automated testing solutions. They work closely with software developers and quality assurance (QA) teams to design and execute automated tests that verify the functionality and performance of software systems.

Technic

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing.
• Must have led testing projects, working with automated testing tools, and mentoring junior team members.
• Recent experience with Azure DevOps (within 1 year).
• Be proficient in using test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Junit, Tricentis suite.
• Working knowledge of low-code, no-code automation solution tools: such as (Tricentis Tosca, Leapwork, others)
• Experience with C#, Python, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript and other programming languages related to test automation.
• Must have led the creation of and standing up of a minimum of one test automation framework and solution.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GIT, SQL Server.
• Strong understanding and ability to create and maintain complex test scripts.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and concepts.
• Understanding of DevOps as a practice.
