Aureon Consulting is partnered with a progressive client with a portfolio of products leveraged by clients in the Retail Annuity and Life Insurance, Institutional Markets, and Investment Management space. Our most immediate need is for a Test Automation Engineer on a fulltime permanent basis. This role DOES require reporting to an office 3 days a week in one of the cities listed below.
Role Summary
A test automation engineer is a software professional with expertise in developing and implementing automated testing solutions. Role involves working closely with software developers and quality assurance (QA) teams to design and execute automated tests that verify the functionality and performance of software systems.
Required Technical Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing. Must have lead testing projects, working with automated testing tools, and mentoring junior team members.
- Recent experience with Azure DevOps.
- Be proficient in using test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Junit, Tricentis suite
- Working knowledge of low-code, no-code automation solution tools: such as (Tricentis Tosca, Leapwork, others)
- Experience with C#, Python, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, and other programming languages related to test automation
- Must have led the creation of and standing up of a minimum of one test automation framework and solution
- Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GIT, SQL Server
- Strong understanding and ability to create and maintain complex test scripts.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and concepts
- Understanding of DevOps as a practice.
