TalentFish is casting a line for a Test Automation Engineer. This is a direct hire, hybrid role open to candidates in the listed locations above. Rosemont, IL, Cedar Rapids, IA, Des Moines, IA, or Baton Rouge, LA

This is a new opportunity to join our premier client as a Test Automation Engineer. Seeking a dynamic, software professional with expertise in developing and implementing automated testing solutions. They will work closely with software developers and quality assurance (QA) teams to design and execute automated tests that verify the functionality and performance of software systems.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing. Must have led testing projects, working with automated testing tools, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Recent experience with Azure DevOps (within 1 year).
  • Be proficient in using test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Junit, Tricentis suite.
  • Working knowledge of low-code, no-code automation solution tools: such as (Tricentis Tosca, Leapwork, others).
  • Experience with C#, Python, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, and other programming languages related to test automation.
  • Must have led the creation of and standing up of a minimum of one test automation framework and solution.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GIT, & SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding and ability to create and maintain complex test scripts.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and concepts.
  • Understanding of DevOps as a practice.
  • Knowledge of insurance processing and terminology preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate / mentor others.
  • Team Player, able to evaluate technical solutions against objective requirements and develop consensus as a team rather than leaning to individual preference or organizational authority.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
