POSITION SUMMARY

The Social Media Director is responsible for leading a team of videographers, editors, and other creative departmental positions that help grow the CEO and President's brand. The Social Media Director will lead in strategy, and content creation in alignment with the vision of the CEO and President, and pivoting based on their expertise, data and audience feedback.
This role will be responsible for directing the brand, and working with Natalie Dawson in making this vision a reality. You will need to understand brand, media, all social media platforms, and how to work with a brand as well as lead a team of highly motivated individuals to make it come to life.

OBJECTIVES
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking social media strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to support product launches, events, and other organizational initiatives
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on the effectiveness of social media efforts
- Leads and manages the social media team, tapping into internal and external agency partners to set the vision, strategy, and best practices that drive growth, engagement, and brand perception across all social platforms
- Identify and implement at least data-driven optimizations in social media strategy
- Lead conception for CV content and work closely with President and CRO to ensure alignment with the brand
- Understand and articulate the core mission of our business, developing strategies and content that not only attract the right business owners but also captivate larger companies by highlighting our innovative approaches
- Lead on some of our most critical social media campaigns, working hand-in-hand with our top-notch agencies on both the creative and media fronts
- Monitor and manage the organization's online reputation, responding effectively to positive and negative interactions
COMPETENCIES
- Increase brand visibility and recognition across social media platforms
- Formulate and execute comprehensive social media strategies for Brandon Dawson, Natalie Dawson, and Cardone Ventures, establishing their authority in the marketplace and showcasing their proficiency in business growth and scaling
- Proficiency with both paid and organic perspectives on social platforms
- Ability to decipher social data, populate insightful reports, and tweak strategies based on results
- Ability to use social media platforms to generate leads and drive traffic to the company's website
- Implement a content calendar to maintain consistency and relevance
- Identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all social media elements, from content creation, set design, filming, and editing to crafting engaging angles, messaging, and copywriting that keep audiences engaged and prompt desired actions
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adjusting strategies based on evolving market conditions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, planning, and execution
- Proficient with social media platforms and best practices
- (YouTube, Instagram, Podcast, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc)
- Able to “speak the language” of the various creatives on the team (understands video editing, filming, design, audio editing, and copywriting)
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
