Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager

Position Overview

Due to growth and strategic expansion, we are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the phased migration and implementation of Business Central across our North American operations. Reporting to the ERP Project Director and the Global System Director, this role involves overseeing the end-to-end transition from Navision 2009 to Business Central, managing project timelines, budgets, stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful adoption across multiple U.S. and Canadian sites.

The successful candidate will leverage expertise in ERP project management, particularly in construction-sector applications, and serve as a crucial liaison among cross-functional teams, external vendors, and global leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership

  Own and lead the ERP migration project from Navision 2009 to Business Central, creating a construction-focused global template to streamline and standardize business processes.

  
  

• Stakeholder Management

  Engage and align with stakeholders across six North American sites, including finance, operations, warehouse teams, and executive leadership, to ensure expectations are met and requirements are incorporated.

  
  

• Timeline & Budget Management

  Develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage budgets, and track project progress to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

  
  

• Functionality Expansion with eVision

  Oversee the implementation of the eVision add-in to enhance Business Central’s capabilities, enabling functions critical to the construction industry, such as contract management, job performance reporting (JPR), and cost valuation.

  
  

• Team Coordination

  Coordinate with system administrators, developers, and external consultants to resolve technical issues, conduct system functionality reviews, and support data cleanup, testing, and user training.

  
  

• Warehouse Management Integration

  Lead the integration of a new warehouse management system into the Business Central environment, ensuring alignment with supply chain and operational requirements.

  
  

• Quality Assurance & Training

  Organize user testing phases, develop training programs, and ensure documentation and resources are readily available for end-users and support teams.

  
  

• Travel Requirements

  Visit North American sites approximately once per month to facilitate project deployment, conduct on-site testing, and support user training.

  
  

Qualifications

• Education

  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field (PMP or similar certification preferred).

  
  

• Experience
• 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on ERP implementations, ideally within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large ERP migration projects, particularly with Microsoft Business Central, Navision, or similar systems.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external vendors, and international stakeholders in a project-focused environment.
• Technical Skills
• Strong familiarity with Business Central ERP and the eVision add-in, especially for construction-sector applications.
• Knowledge of data migration best practices, functional testing, and ERP-related warehouse management system integrations.
• Project Management Skills

  Proficiency in project management tools, budget tracking, timeline management, and resource allocation.

  
  

• Soft Skills

  Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills; able to translate technical details for various stakeholders and build consensus across teams.

  
  

• Travel Availability

  Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time for on-site project support in the U.S. and Canada.
