As a Senior Digital IC Designer, you will join the Mixed Signal Products team to design power-efficient, high-performance mixed-signal ICs for consumer and automotive markets. Key responsibilities include developing custom digital cores, focusing on low-power design, collaborating with analog teams, and optimizing the digital design flow. Familiarity with ARM, DSP, and RISC-V architectures is a strong advantage.
Core Responsibilities:
- Digital IC Design
- Create custom, power-efficient digital cores for mixed-signal ICs in audio, haptics, and power management.
- Low-Power Design
- Emphasize battery-powered applications, using techniques like clock gating and dynamic voltage scaling.
- Architecture Development
- Work with system architects for seamless analog-digital integration.
- Digital Design Flow
- Oversee RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing closure, and power optimization.
- Power Optimization & Validation
- Build robust verification environments and maintain strict power specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Expert in digital IC design and low-power custom core optimization.
- Experience with RTL design, synthesis, and mixed-signal IC verification.
- Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, and tools like Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor.
- Knowledge of ARM, DSP, and RISC-V in high-performance systems.
- Hands-on with synthesis, place & route, and timing closure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DSP/RISC-V expertise and ARM-based low-power systems experience.
- Automotive IC experience and understanding of consumer electronics design challenges.
