Position Overview:

As an IT Project Engineer at DivergeIT, you will be responsible for managing and executing various IT projects, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to travel to client sites as needed to ensure successful project implementation.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Azure, Avigilon Alta, and Microsoft 365 Project Engineering Support.
  • Follow established directions and procedures for project execution.
  • Engage in analysis and troubleshooting to resolve client issues.
  • Maintain regular customer interaction via phone, email, teams/zoom, or in-person to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with peers to enhance service delivery and project outcomes.
  • Utilize PowerShell and shell scripting to automate and streamline processes.

Experience:

  • Experience working on projects
  • At least 2 years of IT Experience.

Certifications:

  • MD-102: Microsoft Endpoint Administrator
  • SC-400: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator
  • SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and shell scripting.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki and networking fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects to completion.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
