Apex Systems is hiring Desktop Support Technicians for one of our government clients supporting the Navy & Marine Corps!
Title: Desktop Support/IT Mid
Location: On-site; Norfolk Naval Station
Contract Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension
Pay: $26.03/hr + $4.57/hr Fringe
Schedule: M-F day hours
Hard Requirements:
- Active, DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+CE
- 4 years of IT experience in networking, systems troubleshooting, software, and hardware support.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- 2-5 years of IT experience
- Work independently with minimal direction and be able to help conceptualize, design, construct, test and implement portions of their information technology solutions
- Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and information technology requirements
- Candidate will help with project planning
- Hands-on software and hardware repair
- Must feel comfortable troubleshooting laptops, desktop devices, peripheral equipment, and basic Outlook issues
- Windows Server and Windows 7/8/10 experience highly desired
