Position Highlights:
We're seeking an experienced onsite and remote Network Technician with VAR experience. This role demands multitasking prowess and a knack for problem-solving across diverse network installations. Your skills should span Microsoft-based server management, Cisco and other wireless technologies, and ideally Cisco VoIP.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer networks and IT solutions, particularly within a VAR setting.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to support our sales team with RFP/Bid responses, scope estimations, and hardware/software configurations.
- Mandatory certification in Cisco CCNA or CCNP; additional certs from Microsoft, Cisco, Ruckus, Fortinet, Intel, Citrix, VMware, or other top vendors are advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and install cutting-edge network routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Deploy and optimize Windows-based workstations and servers, including MS Exchange server.
- Provide adept end-user support for LAN-based applications, including VoIP systems.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of policies, procedures, and system configurations.
- Manage Windows servers (Active Directory, Group Policies) and Windows 10/11 workstations.
- Implement and manage various remote connection solutions and backup systems.
