Position Overview: This is a full-time, in-office position based in Temecula, California. The ideal candidate is a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 2 years of experience who is eager to develop their skills in business law and litigation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive and dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the handling of business law and business litigation cases under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis on various business law issues.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, motions, and briefs.
  • Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in business law and litigation practices.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California State Bar membership.
  • 0-2 years of experience in business law and/or business litigation; clerking experience is a plus.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
