Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Operations Manager to oversee the loan operations of our clients growing portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of loan processing, compliance, and servicing with a strong emphasis on communication. This role requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating across departments, managing loan-related workflows, and ensuring smooth operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Loan Operations: Manage the end-to-end loan operations process, including loan origination, processing, servicing, and closing.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all loan operations comply with federal, state, and company policies, as well as any regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve loan processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with sales, underwriting, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless operations and clear communication.
  • Customer Service Support: Ensure high-quality customer interactions and resolution of loan-related inquiries.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to loan operations, including errors, delays, or regulatory non-compliance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on loan portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and risk metrics for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in loan operations, preferably in a financial services or loan portfolio management company.
  • Proven experience leading and managing loan processing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of loan servicing, regulatory requirements, and financial principles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
