Controls Engineer

Job Duties

• Help design parts of larger engineering projects or lead small projects.
• Design control panels by using standards provided by the Project Engineer.
• Ensure all designs are complete, accurate, and ready for use, including schematics, layouts, and parts lists.
• Work with the Project Engineer on scheduling and keeping designs consistent.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure that all designs meet company or customer standards.
• Write and debug software using ladder logic, MMI, and C++.
• Work with manufacturing and field service teams to solve engineering issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred).
• Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk View and Logix 5000, plus Microsoft Office.
• Prior work as a Controls Engineer is a plus.
