Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing control systems for manufacturing processes. This position requires a strong background in industrial engineering and a passion for optimizing production efficiency within a factory or manufacturing facility.

Required Skills

  • Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the IEC61511 and ISA 84 SIS standard
  • Minimum 10 years of process control plant experience (Emerson Ovation, ABB Infi90, Rockwell control Logix system, DeltaV DCS, DeltaV SIS, Triconex, or HIMA)
  • Proficient in the design and programming of Rockwell Automation PLC/visualization platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix)
  • Experience on Foundation Fieldbus

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control systems for various manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed schematics and layouts for control systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
  • Integrate robotics and vision inspection systems into production lines to enhance automation.
  • Conduct process engineering analyses to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve overall efficiency within the facility.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on new equipment and processes.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
  • Familiarity with vision inspection systems for quality control.
  • Competence in CAD software for designing control systems.
  • Solid understanding of process engineering concepts.
  • Expertise in programming logic controllers (PLC).
  • Experience with robotics applications in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a factory or manufacturing facility environment.
