Control System Engineer

Flowtec is actively seeking a Controls Engineer to assist with installation and/or programming efforts for PLC & DCS systems. This position requires the individual to perform design, development, implementation, and testing process control system automation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design control systems for new projects or modifications to existing systems.
• Create system specifications, including hardware and software requirements.
• Design control logic and algorithms to meet operational requirements.
• Write and modify code for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other control systems.
• Integrate control systems with existing equipment and processes.
• Conduct testing of control systems to ensure they function correctly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and equipment.
• Ensure that control systems comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of PLC & DCS programming experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Proficiency in DeltaV, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, or similar systems
