Job Title: Commercial Attorney (Part-Time)

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Attorney with 5-10 years of experience to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in drafting and negotiating Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), with a strong preference for those who have worked in oil field services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs and NDAs with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Provide legal advice on various commercial matters, including contract terms and conditions, to ensure the company's interests are protected.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate contract execution and address any related legal concerns.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, particularly in the oil field services sector, to ensure compliance with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• 5-10 years of experience in commercial law, with a strong focus on MSAs, NDAs, and other contractual agreements.
• Preferably, prior experience in the oil field services sector.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a part-time role (20-30 hours per week).
• Ideally based in Houston, with the flexibility to come into the office on an as-needed basis.
