Salary: $90,000-$100,000 a year

Job Description:

Development of System requirements, Component requirements, SW requirements for Engine, Transmission, Driveline and Electrified Powertrain, Motor control, Hybrid Electric Vehicle Control Features like Cruise Control, Engine Start Stop, Engine Thermal Management, Torque management, HV Battery Thermal Management, Diagnostics management, Battery Management system, DC-DC conversion, AC-DC conversion, etc.
Requirements management and establishing traceability in IBM DOORS or DNG
Develop system, Component requirements including network signals, DFMEA
Develop SW Requirements from System requirements and support SW architecture development
Develop DVP and perform System validation/acceptance testing on HIL
Requirements verification using MBSE/SysML modeling and simulation

Technical/Functional Skills:

Domain Skills:

Good Understanding of Automotive Domain
Good Understanding of Engine or Transmission or Driveline or Electric Vehicle (EV) Features, Motor Control features, Hybrid Electric Vehicle features
Good Understanding of CAN, LIN, Ethernet communication
Familiarity with IC Engine vehicles, Electric Vehicle, Hybrid Electric Vehicle & Electrified PT domain
Expert in System and Component level Requirements Development including functional and Diagnostics by referring to Stake Holder Requirements from Vehicle Platform Team
Experience in development of DFMEA
Experience of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), Functional Safety
Support System architecture development
Prepare Requirements Analysis Report
Decomposition of System requirements to SW requirements
Support SW architecture development
Arranging requirement review meetings
Developing System level Design Verification Plan
Issue Reporting and Tracking
Validation on HIL/Vehicle
