Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst with a specialized focus on Employee Health & Safety (EHS) to join our team for a 2-month contract role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, management, and reporting, with proficiency in tools such as GriffinVisierSQL, and AWS. As a Business Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to leverage data-driven insights to improve workplace safety and help ensure compliance with EHS standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst, with a strong focus on Employee Health & Safety (EHS) or related fields.
• Proficiency with Griffin and Visier reporting tools, or similar EHS management platforms.
• Advanced skills in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) for data management and cloud-based analytics.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline management.
• Ability to work with large datasets and complex systems while maintaining attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to a diverse group of stakeholders.
• A passion for leveraging data to improve workplace safety and health outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Previous experience working in an EHS or health and safety-related role is a plus.

Work Environment:

• This position will be based in Secaucus, NJ
• The role will require close collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
• The position is for a 2-month contract with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
