Serioplast is looking for a Production Manager for its plants in St. Louis, Missouri.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The Production Manager is responsible for reaching production targets by guaranteeing production continuity and product quality by company standards and procedures. The Production Manager reports to the Plant Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leads, manages, coordinates, and supports the Production team in managing priorities, eliminating bottlenecks, and addressing critical issues to ensure maximum production efficiency.
- Sets daily, weekly, and monthly production plans with the support of Logistics to implement successful plans
- Analyzes the headcount and work plan organization most effectively, minimizing overtime and driving high plant performance
- Analyzes the daily performance of all work centers, addressing the root cause of discrepancies between production plan and actual performance
- Plans timing and priority of technical actions (e.g., color/mold changes) based on the production plan and coordinating with the Technical Manager
- Works with Technical Manager to maintain machinery and equipment according to the production program
- Develops and utilizes relevant KPI measurements to drive Continuous Improvement production
- Works closely with quality and technical teams to address major quality issues of the finished product and promotes information flow in the production team
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)
- Excellent applied knowledge of WCM standards
- Good understanding of the supply chain process
- Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices
- Basic applied understanding of an ERP system (preferably SAP)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years experience as a Production Manager in an FMCG or Automotive Company
