Jamf/Mac Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Jamf/Mac Specialist to join our client's team on a 7-8+ month consulting contract in Philadelphia. This role involves configuring, managing, and optimizing our Apple device management platform to enhance the user experience and streamline IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical lead for Jamf Pro implementations, configurations, and integrations.
• Manage and maintain Apple macOS devices across the organization, including software updates, security policies, and device configurations.
• Develop and implement deployment strategies to streamline onboarding, provisioning, and ongoing management of Mac devices.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for macOS-related issues, including network and connectivity challenges.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to develop and enforce policies, scripts, and profiles for Apple device management.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for IT staff on Jamf best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jamf Pro and Apple macOS device management in an enterprise environment.
• Deep understanding of macOS architecture, Apple security protocols, and deployment methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex macOS and Jamf-related issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Jamf Certified Associate, Technician, or higher) are a plus.
