As the Sr. Payroll and Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility is owning the entire payroll process from start to finish. Understanding how recruitment payroll works is the foundation of success for this position. Recruitment payroll has more moving parts than a normal payroll processing firm. You must have a general understanding of how payroll and billing go hand in hand. It is crucial that time and expenses are entered into payroll efficiently and correctly to avoid delays in billing processes. This position will work closely with our HR and Billing department to ensure the accuracy of the payroll data.
ADP Workforce Now is the current payroll processing platform. The Sr. Payroll and Operations Specialist must have ADP experience with importing payroll data into the system. Additional required knowledge would be creating Quickcalcs, setting up garnishments, prior quarter adjustments and adjusting previous pay checks when needed.
In addition to the primary payroll function, learning and assisting with operational tasks would be needed. Operational tasks vary from quarterly/monthly payroll reporting, tax set up, workers comp tasks, third party compliance updates and various other duties to assist the Operations Manager. This role would provide a broader view of the business and help accelerate growth within the company.
