Assembly Technician

Job Summary

The Assembly Line Specialist is responsible for efficiently assembling products or components on an assembly line in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. The Assembly Line Specialist ensures products are assembled correctly, meet quality standards, and are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products or parts according to specified blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery as needed for each task.
• Inspect components for defects or discrepancies before assembly and ensure proper alignment and fit during the assembly process.
• Follow assembly procedures and checklists to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct quality checks during the assembly process to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards and improve workflow.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience working in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of assembly techniques, tools, and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues.
• Ability to work in a team environment, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production goals.
