We are a dynamic CAD/CAM software company based in Massachusetts and we have an exciting job opportunity for an enthusiastic CAD/CAM Support Technician to join our team!
EFICAD has a strong position in the development of woodworking/furniture software from design (CAD) to manufacturing (CAM) with customers and partners in over 60+ countries to distribute and support our solutions in a highly technical environment.
EFICAD America, assumes distribution in the Americas and in the context of growth, we are looking for an individual who will be responsible for technical support for our customers and provide them with essential training. The position is based in Boston, MA, with flexibility for some remote work.
How you will contribute
Support
- Provide support to customers in the use of our products
- Troubleshoot configuration and software questions
- Enter and track support requests in our ticketing system (Dynamics CRM)
Training and Project Transfer
- Conduct essential training for software end users
- Hand over the project to a senior technician/engineer for implementation steps
What you bring
- At least 2 years of experience with CAD/CAM solutions (SolidWorks preferred)
- Technical Support experience
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Experience with CAM systems, data management and IT skills are a plus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
