Civil Project Manager/Engineer

Our client, a Maine-based full-service engineering, survey, GIS, and natural resources consulting firm in its 144th year of business, is seeking to add a Civil Project Engineer/Manager to their growing team. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to be a part of a dynamic, high performing team with a reputation for knowledgeable, quality service and long-term client relationships.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 4-8 years’ engineering experience preferred
- Professional Engineer - licensed in Maine or with the ability to gain a Maine license within 1 year
- Experience designing projects including roads/highways, renewable (solar/wind) sites, commercial development sites, and subdivisions. Experience in stormwater modeling and regulatory permitting preferred
- Proficient in client interaction with ability to maintain project schedules and budgets
- Experienced in business development, proposal writing, and scope/budget & schedule preparation
- Comfortable participating in teams to execute projects
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Position requires occasional travel
