Information Technology Manager

Our client, an end-to-end transportation solutions provider covering a multitude of requirements is seeking to add an IT Manager to their growing team. This Direct Hire role will be responsible for resolving assigned computer, printer, telephone and other related issues and analyzing the capabilities of our client's operational software systems. This position will also develop specifications regarding needed changes and use project management skills to develop objectives, measurement tools, training, and ongoing analysis and reporting mechanisms.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Monitors core software applications, document and analyze problems, and assists I.T. vendors in maintaining maintenance schedule.
  • Assists in maintaining system documentation.
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
  • Provides advice and training to end-users.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of four (4) years directly related work experience in a technical position supporting Windows 7 and 10, Microsoft Office 2016 and later, Internet Explorer, Chrome, SharePoint and other business applications in a business environment.
  • EDI experience required.
  • ERP experience required
  • Help Desk experience and some experience with programming, scripting and macros desirable. SQL experience helpful.
