Position: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Remote (PST hours)
Pay Rate Starting @: $55/hour
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands on experience with Katalon automation tools.
- 5+ years of experience scripting and executing automated test cases.
- Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and SQL for Selenium automation, database verification, and testing.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, with 2 years of experience using Git and tools like GitHub or BitBucket.
- Proven experience working in a highly Agile environment, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
Pluses:
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Experience with Katalon.
- Familiarity with containerization and virtualization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Job Description:
- Insight Global is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a critical project with one of our top consulting services partners. This individual will be part of a critical team responsible for testing and quality assurance efforts as part of a large scale cloud native product development effort. The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in developing and executing automated functional test scripts, and is capable of validating code changes and contributing to the success of the automated Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and will be responsible for designing, scripting, and executing automated tests in an Agile development environment.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate Starting @ $55/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
