Job Title: IT Project Manager

Employment Type: Ongoing Contract, possible extension/conversion

Location: Durant, OK – HYBRID - 1-2 days/week

Salary Range: $50-$65/hr (W2)

Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a Contract (possible extension/conversion) position in the Southern OK area. The desired candidate will have 5+ years of project/program management experience related to various technology sectors. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a wide range of technology projects. A mix of infrastructure, software, security and Health IT project delivery is preferred. You will work with department managers and vendors to ensure that the deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality. This is an excellent opportunity with a very unique company!!!

Hybrid – Must be willing to commute 1-2 days/week to Durant, OK

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for delivery against approved scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Oversee all scoping, planning, execution and managing activities to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Design meeting structure and coordinate meeting events.
  • Drives the development and improvement of project plans.
  • Tracks progress and provides timely status reporting of milestones, dependencies, risks and issues to initiative owners, key stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Determine deadlines for key deliverables.
  • Vendor management.
  • Evaluate workflow processes and provide recommendations.

Skills:

  • PMP Certification highly preferred
  • Previous experience with diverse IT related projects.
  • Industry experience as an IT project manager, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services.
  • Diverse IT project portfolio including infrastructure, software, security, and Health IT is preferred.
  • Strong Project Management and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication (written and oral).
  • Go-Getter attitude that will push to get the job done and drive projects.
  • Self-driven, with limited oversight required.
  • Ability to drive team members to task delivery.
  • Attentive to detail with focus on accurate and timely results.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.
