Control Systems Design Manager

Job Description

• Team Leadership: Lead the control systems design efforts for multiple oil and gas projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, and budgetary constraints.
• Design and Development: Develop, review, and approve control systems design deliverables, including P&IDs, instrumentation diagrams, control system architectures, and system specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all control systems designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks related to control systems, ensuring the integrity and reliability of automation solutions.
• Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand project needs and provide technical expertise and solutions during design reviews and project execution.

Skills Requested:

• Experience in control systems design/engineering, with at least 2-5 + years in a management or leadership role.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is a plus
• Proven track record of delivering complex control systems for oil and gas, energy, or industrial projects.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumenation or others used for control system design.
