Trade Execution Specialist II

Responsibilities

  • Complete trade execution for various categories of trades across the platform, including but not limited to: rebalancing, tax loss harvesting, one-off trades, changes to asset allocation, margin clears
  • Enter, manage, and complete stock, bond, ETF, option, and mutual fund trades as well as direct separately managed account cash flows
  • Properly run rebalancing process, including:
  • Setup, assign, maintain, and monitor accounts within rebalancing software
  • Rebalance client portfolios in accordance with advisor / investments team guidance
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of firm trade execution
  • Monitor drift vs. models for client portfolios with timely reporting to advisor/investment teams
  • Perform ongoing maintenance in portfolio reporting system and trading rebalancer to ensure accurate client profile attributes and target allocations
  • Perform ongoing trade review and reconciliation of all trades
  • Onboard new client relationships into portfolio reporting system, including: target allocation, client profile attributes, and importing outside assets
  • AUM reporting for independent third-party trading platforms
  • Process enhancement and optimization for current trading functions

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required, preferably in Finance
  • Exceptional analytical skills with significant knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, Microsoft Suite, Market Data hubs, Execution venues preferred
  • Awareness of and ability to follow escalation procedures
  • Thorough understanding of importance of liquidity needs and appropriate cash management procedures
  • Ability to be organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Set high quality standards and strive for continues improvement and quality assurance
  • Passion for problem-solving both individually and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal communication skill to coordinate with clients, advisors, and other team members
  • Interest in financial markets, investments and investment strategies, and wealth management

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
