Capgemini/Sogeti is looking to build out a team of three resources to fulfill a project with our client in the healthcare space to take on the roles of Lead Azure Security Architect with previous development experience, Senior Azure Security Developer and Azure Security Developer (Architect JD also posted so apply there if interested in Lead roles versus hands on roles).

Position: Security Azure Developer Consultant - 1 Senior and 1 mid-level available

Overview

The .NET Azure Security Developer Consultant has extensive .NET development experience for solutions hosted in Azure. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who can take direction well to remediate security risks identified by cloud security platforms such as Wiz.io and other security tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remediation & Resolution
    Implement code or configuration changes for identified security issues in .NET applications and/or underlying Azure infrastructure.

  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code in .NET while following best practices and design patterns. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Development Teams
    Work with infrastructure services, software developers and architects to ensure secure coding practices are followed and assist in implementing necessary security changes within the applications.

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Learning and Adaptation: Quickly grasp new technologies and tools as needed
  • Documentation
    Provide detailed documentation on identified issues, mitigation strategies, and steps taken to resolve security risks, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.

Qualifications

  • Azure Application Development: 5+ years developing .NET solutions for Azure services such as Azure Function Apps, Web Apps with integrations to Azure SQL Database, Table Storage, CosmosDB, APIM, etc. required
  • Knowledge of best practices for Application Gateway, WAF, networking configurations preferred
  • DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for version control and CI/CD pipeline management.

  • Strong proficiency in .NET development for Azure applications

Compensation

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $90,000 - $150,000.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.

Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
