Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our team for a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is critical to supporting various electrical engineering functions within an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design and project execution within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assessing electrical capacity and developing solutions to meet customer needs.
• Providing support in various electrical engineering roles, including electrical design for system upgrades and new installations.
• Designing electrical systems for both small and large-scale electrical upgrades and equipment replacements.
• Working with switchgear and utility lines to ensure system integrity and functionality.
• Spending 80% of time in a "behind the desk" setting, with 20% in the field for assessments, surveys, and data gathering.
• Bringing insights from field assessments back to the plant for proposal development.
• Developing detailed project proposals and technical solutions for various electrical projects.
Must-Have Qualifications:
• Industrial or Manufacturing Experience: Demonstrated experience working in industrial settings, ideally in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Electrical Design Experience: Proven experience in electrical design, including system upgrades and equipment replacements.
• ABET Degree: A degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required.

Compensation
$__63/hr to $___80/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
