Network Engineer

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the health of network systems, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Configure, monitor, and report on cybersecurity measures to protect network infrastructure.
Design and oversee network setups, incorporating servers, storage, virtualization, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing recommendations for effective solutions.
Ensure reliable server backup and recovery processes are in place and functioning.
Standardize workstation operating system installations to enhance security and functionality.
Monitor network systems proactively to detect and address potential issues.
Lead projects aimed at improving network performance and reliability.
Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment.
Deliver exceptional customer service and support to end-users.
Train and assist team members as necessary.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience in IT and network engineering.
Proficiency in managing Cisco Nexus devices and Cisco iOS.
Skilled in administering Windows, UNIX, and Linux systems.
Expertise in Cisco networking at the CCNP level, including VLANs, switching, and routing.
Familiarity with security software such as Cisco Endpoint Security and antivirus tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with VPN solutions, such as Cisco AnyConnect, and storage solutions.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
