Senior .NET Developer - Hybrid in Chicago

This Chicago-based Financial services company is looking to add a .Net Developer to its team. This individual needs to have prior experience working for a hedge fund, trading firm, exchange, or bank, ideally working on back office and trading applications. You will be involved in upgrading their technology and building new Applications with .Net Core, C#, React, Azure with Docker, and Kubernetes. You also need experience building RESTful API's in a microservices environment. They have legacy desktop applications you will support, that are C# with WPF, so a willingness and knowledge WPF/MVVM would be extremely helpful.

Requirements:

• 5+ years working as a full-stack .Net Developer
• C#, .NET Core, and experience with React, Angular, or Vue
• Hands-on experience building applications in Azure or AWS
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, or other similar technologies
• Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices
• Database experience, strong SQL skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Dapper, CosmosDB)
• Experience with WPF/ MVVM or a willingness to work on and support desktop applications
• Exposure to Python or Databricks
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to go into the office - no remote opportunities
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics is strongly desired
