We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a contract opportunity in Nashville!

The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This role ensures the smooth operation of hardware and equipment by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading systems as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops and other hardware.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide end-user training and support on hardware and software.
  • Aid in the rollout of new PCs and provide imaging and deployment support.
  • Provide printer troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Trace and manage cables for hardware setup.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Experience with Windows 10-11, SCCM, and Microsoft Intune is preferred.
  • Experience with computer imaging.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for end-user interaction and training.
