We are seeking an experienced Desktop Technician for a consulting role based in Newark, DE, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement. This role is critical to our enterprise-wide Windows 11 upgrade project, involving desktop support, deployment management, and software/hardware inventory control. Exceptional customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive desktop support, ensuring smooth hardware and software deployment, including imaging and setup.
  • Play an integral role in executing a large-scale Windows 11 upgrade across the enterprise.
  • Manage software and hardware inventory, keeping accurate records and ensuring readiness for deployment.
  • Leverage Intune and SCCM for system deployment, patch management, and routine updates.
  • Deliver high-quality, customer-focused technical support, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Experience
    3-5 years in hardware and software support, with strong expertise in Windows OS.

  • Technical Skills
    Proficiency with Intune and SCCM for imaging, deployment, and patch reporting.

  • Preferred
    Experience with VMware or Nutanix.

  • Organization
    Solid skills in managing software and hardware inventory.

  • Communication
    Strong ability to provide clear, customer-focused support and maintain positive end-user interactions.
